ስለ እፎይታ በኮልፌ ገበያ ማዕከል አክሲዮን ማህበር አመሰራረት ታሪክ

የዛሬዎቹ የእፎይታ አባላት በንግድ ስራ የዋዛ የሚባል ልምድ አይደለም ያላቸው ፣ የኋልዮሽ ሰባ አመታት መለስ ስንል 1940ዎቹ ድርና መፅሀፍ ተራ በአነስተኛ የንግድ ስራ የጀመሩ ናቸው። ከዘመነ ኅይለ ስላሴ እስከ ዘመነ ኢህአዲግ የዘለቀው ንግድ በመውደቅ እና በመነሳት እያዘገመ 1984 መርካቶ ከመደበኛ ሱቆች ደጅና በዙሪያው ከሚሰሩበት በመፈናቀል ተቋጨ።

በመርካቶ የተለያዩ ሱቆች ደጅ እና ዙሪያ ተለጥፈው በትጋት የሰሩ ፣ የንግድ እንቅስቃሴውን ያደመቁ ከጀርባቸው በርካታ ቤተሰብ የሚያስተዳድሩ ብርቱዎች ነበሩ ። ድንገት የካቲት 1984 ከንግድ ስራቸው ተፈናቅለው ፣ ከመርካቶ ተገፍትረው ወጡ ። መርካቶ ጭር አለች። በድንጋጤ የታመመ ፣ አእምሮውን የሳተ ፣ ልጆቹን ያስራበ ፣ ከትምህርት ገበታ ያፈናቀለ በዛ ! ይህን በደል በመቃወምና መፍትሄ በመሻት ተከታታይ ሰልፎች ማድረግ እና የሚመለከታቸውን የመንግስት ተቋም ደጅ መጥናት የዘወትር ተግባራቸው ሆነ ። ከላይ እንደተጠቀሰው ሰኔ 1984 መርካቶ ድል በትግል አዳራሽ ድል ተገኝቶ አጠና ተራ ላይ እፎይ ተባለ ። አሁን ያለው የአክሲዮን ማህበሩ ስያሜው ለዚህ የረጅም ጊዜ መንከራተት ፣ ከድካምና ውጣ ውረድ በኋላ የተገኘውን እረፍት እና እፎይታን ለማመላከት በማሰብ ነው። በእርግጥ እፎይታውን ዘላቂ የማያደርጉ ክስተቶች ገጥመውን ነበር ። የመተዳደሪና የመመስረቻ ደንቦቹ የማያሰሩ መሆናቸው ፣ ቦታውን አስከብሮ ወደ ግንባታ ያለመግባት ፣ የሊዝ ክፍያ አለመፈፀም ፣ ማህበሩ ከተቋቋመበት ዓላማ ውጭ ያልተሳካ የንግድ ስራ ላይ መሰማራት ፣ የሂሳብ ገቢና ወጪ ሂደቱ ግልፅ ያለመሆንና ለጠቅላላ ጉባኤ በየዐመቱ የኦዲት ሪፖርት ያለማቅረብ ፣ የቦርድ ውሳኔ ሰጪነት ተግባርና የፅ/ቤት ስራን አደበላልቆ በቦርድ አባላት ማሰራት የትላንቱ እፎይታ በኮልፌ ገበያ ማዕከል አክሲዮን ማህበር ቁልፍ ችግሮች ነበሩ ።

አዲሱ የስራ አመራር ቦርድ ሐምሌ 1998 በጠቅላላ ጉባኤው ከተመረጠ በኋላ የማህበሩን ደንብ በማሻሻል ፣ ፅ/ቤቱን በማዋቀር እና ተገቢ ባለሙያዎችን በመቅጠር ፣ የመሬቱን ህጋዊነት የማስጠበቅና ወደ ግንባታ የሚያስገቡ የተለያዩ ስራዎችን መስራት ፣ በክርክር ሂደት ላይ የነበሩ ሱቆችን እልባት እንዲያገኙ ማድረግ ፣ አባላትን ሱቆቻቸውን ለግንባታው እንዲያፈርሱ በማሳመን ዝግጁ ማድረግ ፣ አዲስ ካርታ እንዲወጣ ማድረግ ፣ የፋይናንስ አቅም የሚገኝበትን ሁኔታ ማመቻቸትና ሌሎች በርካታ ተግባራትን በማከናወን የገጠሙ ችግሮችን በመፍታት አ/ማህበሩን መምራት ችሏል።

The present members of Efoyta are not seasoned businesspeople with long-standing commercial experience. When we look back about seventy years, around the 1940s, only a few of them had started engaging in small-scale trade, such as working with nets and books.
From the reign of Emperor Haile Selassie through the EPRDF era, trade activity fluctuated — rising and falling over time. By 1992 E.C. (2000 Gregorian calendar), the Merkato area suffered disruption; traders operating in and around regular shops were displaced and scattered.

In Merkato, there were many hardworking and determined individuals who, through diligence and perseverance, expanded their businesses and supported numerous families. However, suddenly, in Yekatit 1984 E.C. (February 1992 G.C.), they were expelled from their trade and forced to leave Merkato. Merkato became deserted. Many fell ill from shock, lost their peace of mind, struggled to provide for their children, and were forced to withdraw them from school.
In response to this injustice — and in search of a solution — they began organizing continuous demonstrations and visiting relevant government offices. As mentioned above, in Sene 1984 E.C., victory achieved through struggle, and the area named “Efoy” (meaning “relief”) was established in recognition of that triumph.

The current Efoyta Bekolfe Market Center Share Company takes its name from this long journey — symbolizing the hard-fought relief and rest attained after years of hardship and struggle.
However, challenges have continued to threaten the sustainability of that “relief.” Among them were:
The company’s bylaws and founding principles not being properly enforced; Failing to move from the allocated site toward active development; Failure to fulfill lease payment obligations; Deviation from the company’s founding business objectives; Lack of transparency in financial income and expenditure processes; Failure to submit annual audit reports to the General Assembly; and Interference by board members in management and secretarial functions.

These issues became the key challenges faced by the Efoyta Bekolfe Market Center Share Company, undermining the spirit and stability of the organization.

After the new executive board was elected by the General Assembly in Hamle 1998 (July 2006), it was able to lead the association by revising the association’s bylaws, restructuring the office, and hiring appropriate professionals; carrying out various activities to safeguard the legal status of the land and move forward to the construction phase; ensuring that shops which were under dispute received resolution; preparing members by convincing them to demolish their shops for the construction; facilitating the issuance of a new site map (karta); creating conditions to obtain financial capacity; and accomplishing many other tasks, thereby solving the challenges that had been encountered.

እፎይታ ከየት ወደየት?

እፎይታ በኮልፌ የገበያ ማዕከል አክስዮን ማህበር ከረጅም ድካምና እንግልት በኃላ በጥረትና በትዕግስት እፎይታን ያረጋገጠ የሌሎች ተምሳሌት አክስዮን ማህበር ነው። አባላቱ የዛሬውን ከዘመን ዘመን የሚሽጋገር ጥሪት እስኪገነቡ ድረስ ችግርና መከራን በተስፋ አሳልፈዋል።በዚህም “ህይወት የምታምረው ከፊት ተስፋ ከኃላ ትዝታ ሲኖራት ነው” የሚለውን አባባል እውን አርገዋል።

በየግዜው ተንገዳግደው የሚወድቁ አክሲዮን ማህበራት በበዙበት ሀገራችን ማህበሩን ለድል ያበቁት አሁን ያሉት የዳይሬክተሮች ቦርድ አባላት ከምስጋናም በላይ በመልካም ስም የሚያስጠራቸውን ታሪካዊ ስራ ሰርተዋል።.

አክሲዮን ማህበሩ

Comprising seven members elected by the shareholders, the Board of Directors is vested with the ultimate authority to steer the company's strategy and uphold fiduciary responsibilities to the owners. Acting as the company's supreme leadership, this board is responsible for setting major goals and strategic direction, appointing top executives like the CEO, and ensuring the company is managed effectively and responsibly on behalf of its owners.
The General Manager (often synonymous with the Chief Executive Officer or CEO) is a senior executive appointed by and reporting directly to the Board of Directors. While the Board sets the company's overall strategy and provides oversight, the General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational execution of the organization. They translate the board's strategic vision into actionable plans, manage the company's resources, and lead the executive team to achieve the performance targets set by the Board.
The Deputy Manager is a senior executive who report directly to the General Manager. Their primary role is to act as a key support and second-in-command, assisting the General Manager in the execution of daily operations and strategic initiatives. They are often delegated specific responsibilities, such as overseeing particular departments or major projects, and are empowered to make decisions in the General Manager's absence.
The Head of Finance (or Chief Financial Officer - CFO) is a key member of the senior management team who typically reports directly to the General Manager or CEO. This role holds ultimate responsibility for all the company's financial activities, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, risk management, and capital allocation. They ensure the company's financial health and provide critical data-driven insights to the General Manager and the Board of Directors to support strategic decision-making.
